Houston Boasts 2nd Highest Price Per Square Foot Increase in Nation

May was another banner month on the price per square foot front, according to the latest numbers from Movoto.

Price per square foot in the Houston housing market rose a very healthy 27.5 percent year-over-year in May, increasing from $80 a square foot to $102, according to the latest State of the Market report by Movoto.

That was not only a typically strong yearly increase for Houston’s market, but the second strongest in the nation among large metro areas.
