Construction has begun on 11 residences at The Beach Bungalows, a vacation home community within the Camp Margaritaville Resort Crystal Beach. An additional 11 homes are set to break ground in October.
All residences will be built to Fortified Gold standard, a wind- and storm-resistance designation from the Institute for Business and Home Safety. Homes will also be delivered fully furnished with “Margaritaville-inspired finishes,” according to a press release. Pricing starts in the $800,000s.
Residents will have access to resort amenities, including the Fins Bar & Grill restaurant, License to Chill pool and swim-up bar and a slate of live events and concerts. Concert tickets are included with home purchases.
Homeowners who choose to use their residences as short-term rentals will have the option to feature their listings on the Margaritaville website.
“The energy on site right now is incredible,” said Brad Ballard, founder and developer of Camp Margaritaville Resort Crystal Beach. “What was once a vision is now a fast-growing beachfront community, and there’s no better time to come see it in person.”
A model home is now open daily for tours. Developers will hold an open house event over Labor Day weekend.
Builders project that over 30 homes will be delivered before next spring.
