On Saturday, Oct. 18, employees of RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring were among the supporters gathered at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Torch Relay, as Miles for Miracles Relay made its second Texas handoff in Houston area.

Torch Relay is an annual walk, run and bike ride for miracles. The Torch Relay covers 43 markets, beginning on the East Coast and moving to the West Coast via the northern states and then heading back to the East Coast via the southern states.  It covers 10,000 miles and draws thousands of walkers at each stop along the way. The organization has achieved amazing goals and raised $1 million each year for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Funds raised during the 5K walk/run event held in The Woodlands will be used to support Texas Children’s Hospital of Houston, one of 170 Miracle Network hospitals in the U.S. Danna Furnace-Grimes, director of agent services and relocation director at RE/MAX TheWoodlands & Spring, was pleased to be among other supporters of the cause.

“”We are so pleased that we could be a part of this event,”” said Grimes. “”As long-time supporters of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, we all enjoy getting the opportunity to meet like-minded people and help promote such a worthy cause.””

RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring is a proud supporter of many worthy organizations, including Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Susan G. Komen and the Texas Sentinels Foundation.
