This week, we talked with Tamarah Curtis, a Realtor with Creighton Realty Partners – recently named No. 4 Houston agent in terms of individual transactions – who shared her proven methods for reaching top producer status. 

3. To run with the big dogs, learn from them. If you are new or can’t seem to find your niche, become a buyer’s agent for a top producer. If you do not want to work on a team, find classes that a proven agent holds and attend.

2. Answer your phone. Always. A missed lead will go to the next top agent who does answer their phone. One missed lead can be five missed transaction in the future.

1. Customer service is key. Real estate is selling property but working with people…is really what we do. Easy transactions people will always rave about you. The hard transactions is when you earn clients for life. Treat people as you want to be treated when you are on the customer service hotline of a large company. If possible, make the situation right, and quickly.
