GET BACK IN THOSE BUILDINGS, CARL!

Die hard “Walking Dead” fan? You could own a part of the town where the show was filmed for $680,000. Nine buildings in downtown Grantville, Georgia, which was used as a location during season three of the zombie show, were listed on eBay. Grantville once flourished as a textile town, but struggled after its local cotton mill closed in 1991. That is until the rundown town started to catch the attention of movie crews, and most notably “The Walking Dead.” “Our main industry right now is ‘Walking Dead’ tourists,” said former mayor Jim Sells, who bought the properties from foreclosure during the recession. Interested? As of March 4, there were 1,848 people watching the listing, with only 23 days left to make an offer. See the full article on HousingWire: http://bit.ly/1aY6fhy.

Though the movie bombed at the box office, the home, a standard postwar brick home with matching detached garage, is on the market for $519,900.
