Master-planned Audubon moves into second phase with new builders

by Lindsey Wells

Nearly 100 new homesites are available in the 3,000-acre community of Audubon, where Drees Custom Homes and Perry Homes recently launched sales, according to a press release. Empire Communities will join Drees and Perry as the master-planned community’s third newest builder.

Perry will offer designs for 60- and 70-foot sites with pricing from the low $500,000s, while Drees will build homes on 70-foot sites priced from the $550,000s.

Anglia Homes and Devon Street Homes have opened four model homes in Audubon, selling designs priced from the $240,000s on 40- and 50-foot sites.

“Drees Custom Homes, Perry Homes and Empire are new to Audubon and will broaden the home choices and expand the price points available,” said Sam Yager, vice president of Audubon Magnolia Development, LLC. “Expanding our range of offered floor plans and square footage will bring in new move-up buyers and give current residents an option for a new home when their needs change without them having to leave the community.”

Screech Park recently opened in Audubon, which features a play structure, swings, bench seating, activity lawns, trails and a Screech Owl habitat.

Future amenities will include more trails, parks, ponds, a clubhouse, resort-style pool, children’s pool, covered pavilions and a food truck park. The community will also feature open spaces and a forested environment, according to the release.
