Spiegel is among the top 1 percent of loan officers in the nation and brings more than two decades of mortgage experience to the St. Louis-based company, according to a press release.
“Unlike THLE, most other companies aren’t transparent with their borrowers or even with their employees,” said Spiegel, adding that he chose THLE for its transparency in pricing, process and procedure. “It’s really hard to have a great experience when things are hidden in the process. Lots of companies have great rates one day, and the next day, they’re terrible. And it’s because a vice president somewhere needed additional revenue to make their numbers, so they hiked up the rates.”
In addition to his experience working for various direct correspondent lenders, Spiegel has worked in real estate development, construction, commercial sales and property management. He specializes in financing strategies for residential properties in Texas.
Spiegel said in the release that his goal is to make the mortgage process as efficient and enjoyable as possible for all parties involved.
“You have to have the systems, technology and the people to make the loan process smooth for the buyer,” he noted. “I really recognized that THLE has put together all of those things to help create that great experience for my clients.”
“I couldn’t be happier to have Robert on board,” said Ryan Kelley, founder and CEO of THLE. “He’s bringing a wealth of experience to our team. He works so hard to create positive experiences for clients and we’re so honored he’s chosen to come work with us.”
