Houston top producer Nicole Brende has teamed up with luxury brokerage Nan and Company Properties, departing from Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty after more than a decade.

“We are excited to have Nicole join our leading brokerage,” Nancy Almodovar, the founder and CEO of Nan and Company, said in a news release. “As a skilled professional with insightful local knowledge and extensive expertise in Houston, we are proud to have her aboard.”

Brende’s career began in broadcast journalism after she earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, although she says she always felt destined for a career in real estate.

“My family undoubtedly has the real estate bug, as my mother, father, uncles and cousins have all been in the industry — my father has been a land developer in greater Houston for more than two decades,” Brende shared. “I’m thrilled to be joining Nan and Company Properties, as it’s a continued extension to add to our family’s real estate legacy.”
