First America Homes, the homebuilding arm of The Signorelli Company, announced that Derrick Carlson will now serve as vice president of sales for the Houston market. In his new role, Carlson will oversee a team representing 36 communities across the greater Houston area.

Prior to joining First America Homes, Carlson worked in management and directorial roles for a number of Houston builders including Toll Brothers, HistoryMaker Homes, Taylor Morrison and PulteGroup. A graduate of Arizona State University, he holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication.
