M/I Homes will self-develop a new-home community called Berryknoll on a recently acquired plot of land in Montgomery.

The 200-acre community includes 250 homesites, the largest of which are one acre. M/I will serve as the exclusive homebuilder.

Floor plan offerings range from 2,242 to over 3,600 square feet with three to six bedrooms and side-facing three-car garages. Pricing will start in the $400,000s.

“The opportunity for a new home on a large, even acreage homesite in a planned community is rare in this area,” Jay McManus, Houston division president for M/I Homes, said in a press release.

Plans for Berryknoll also include ponds, trails, a covered pavilion, playground and pickleball courts.
