Both closed and pending home sales declined in Houston during the week ended June 8, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.
Buyers purchased 1,731 homes during the week, down 3.7% from the same week in 2025. Meanwhile, buyers contracted on 2,107 homes, down 10.4% year over year.
At the same time, new listings crept up 0.6%, with 4,324 sellers putting homes on the market.
Consumer interest remained high, with both property showings and open houses increasing 5.3% and 0.4% year over year, respectively.
