Manzel Contemporary Homes is building 29 townhomes in a new community called Museum’s Gate, which will be located on Portland Street, near Main Street and just behind The Museum Tower.
“There is a sense of serenity and privacy to the area. That’s the part we liked about it.” said Vahid Shariatzadeh, a partner with Manzel Contemporary Homes.
The four-story townhomes will range in size from 2,816 square feet to 4,300 square feet and cost from $795,000 to over $1.2 million.
The homes will feature white oak floors, granite or marble countertops, and hingeless cabinets.
Private elevators come standard, as well as a smart home system that allows homeowners to control security cameras, a dual-zone sound system and the lights, as well as answer the door through their smartphones.
The first three homes in the community are finished. The company plans to re-evaluate sales of its first seven homes before embarking on the remaining homes in early 2016, Shariatzadeh said.
