The group is led by founder Brooks Ballard, who originally founded his brokerage in 1998.

A member of the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing Specialists, Hermes has over two decades of experience in the Harris County residential market.

The team plans to utilize a YouTube-based model, converting leads from video content.

Nan and Company, founded by Nancy and Jose Almodovar in 2014, was formerly affiliated with Christie’s International Real Estate since 2017. The groups severed ties at the end of last year.

Newton joins the brokerage’s office in The Woodlands.

The three-person team consists of Principal and Founder Jaime Baker, as well as Associate Principals Teni Kalafian and Gianna Aquino.

The new executives have marketing and communications experience in Washington, D.C. 

Guaranteed Rate Affinity has appointed Dino Guadagnino as regional vice president of reverse mortgages and Kevin Dilday as area sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. 

In his new role with the state real estate department, Woodroof is tasked with overseeing the group, which does work to protect consumers and regulate the industry in Texas.

The appointment, announced at Christie’s International Real Estate’s recent annual conference, will take effect in June. 

She was formerly a top producer with Keller Williams Memorial.

Mike Buffler, a 13-year veteran of the entertainment banking industry, has joined Rate to provide flexible, strategic mortgage solutions for its athlete and musician clients nationwide. 

The luxury condo and new-development specialist was previously an agent with Douglas Elliman and had a sales volume over $72 million in 2024.

New CFO Tim Dieffenbecher previously served with CEO Chris Czarnecki at Broadstone Net Lease and Broadstone Real Estate. 

The five-person group, led by Deanna Kimbrell, is based in The Woodlands but assists clients across northern Houston.
