Therese Landa’s territory is large; she serves sellers, luxury buyers and investors in Memorial, Spring Branch, Inner Loop, Heights, River Oaks, Montrose, Katy, West Houston, Cypress, 1960, Spring, Woodlands, Garden Oaks, Energy Corridor and 290 Corridor.
But smaller geographic corners matter, too. Taking the time to learn the Marble Falls market and networking with other agents there led Landa, broker-owner of Houstonian Properties, to find a $2 million lakefront dream home for a client.
A 35-year cancer survivor, Landa’s passion is helping those currently battling the disease in any way she can. “I am tenacious and love to experience the best of life,” Landa says. “Life is short, so go for it. There is nothing I cannot conquer.”
She supports the Holly Rose Ribbon Foundation, a nonprofit organization that facilitates free post-cancer treatment restorative surgery, and she volunteers with CanCare, a charity that connects survivors with current patients to help get them through trying times. She also counsels real estate professionals who are new to the business and loves seeing agents she has mentored advance in their careers and become sought-after professionals on their own.
A Graduate, Realtor Institute and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Landa is a strong negotiator, an attribute she considers paramount to success. She markets properties through social media, mailings, magazines, ads and blogs. In testimonials, clients describe her as a true advocate for their best interests.
Membership in multiple Realtor associations and the Greater Houston Luxury Home Connection helps her stay current on matters impacting real estate and gives her the opportunity to network with like-minded brokers.
Landa also attends all the local charity galas she can fit into her schedule and sponsors many causes in her community, including Breakfast with Santa and the area’s Spring Festival. A “quiet artist,” Landa enjoys crafting glamorous hats for attendees of the Kentucky Derby.
She also likes to spend time with family and dogs, as well as garden and dine on the organic produce she grows.
