Homebuilders Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes took home significant awards at this year’s Houston’s Best PRISM Awards. Sponsored by the Greater Houston Builders Association, the PRISM awards are considered the most prestigious homebuilding awards handed out each year in Houston.
Taylor Morrison Home Corporation, a builder and developer of single-family detached and attached homes, operates in the U.S. under the Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes brands. While Taylor Morrison divisions operate in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida and Texas, Darling Homes serves move-up and luxury homebuyers in Texas.
Taylor Morrison earned four first-place awards for its homebuilding professionals including “Online Sales Professional of the Year” (Ashelea Pinzon), “Mortgage Specialist of the Year” (David Patton), “Rookie Onsite Professional of the Year – Volume Builder” (Celeste Valdez) and “Construction Superintendent of the Year – Volume Builder” (Cody Metcalf). The company also earning finalist honors in seven additional categories
“Any time you’re recognized by your peers for your performance, it’s truly an honor,” said Jonathan White, president of Taylor Morrison’s Houston division. “To have four members of our team honored in one year is a tremendous accomplishment.”
Darling Homes took was a winner in two categories, winning the awards for “Volume Builder Product Design” ($500,000+) and “Volume Builder – Garden Home/Patio Home of the Year” adding to an already impressive history of PRISM awards from the builder. The homebuilders were also finalists in various additional categories.
