Boutique brokerage Engel & Völkers has announced the opening of its newest office in Katy, Texas, located just 30 minutes west of Houston.
Led by Vickey Wachtel and Norman Wachtel, the new office at 22210 Highland Knolls will serve those in the Katy, Fulshear, West Houston and Memorial areas.
“As housing inventory in the Houston market moves quickly, we are seeing excess demand in areas such as Katy and surrounding suburbs,” said Anthony Hitt, president and CEO, Engel & Völkers Americas. “Katy is known for having one of the highest-rated school systems in Texas making the area especially attractive to families, along with rising oil prices that will continue draw employees from around the world to the Houston oil corridor. The housing market in Katy is poised for growth, and Vickey’s extensive market knowledge and international experience will be a key asset to our brand expansion in Texas.”
Along with the Katy office, Engel & Völkers has seven other locations in key markets throughout Texas, including its new office serving Walker and Montgomery counties.
Mari Realty will now operate as Engel & Völkers Huntersville–Lake Conroe, serving residents in Huntersville, Conroe, Montgomery, Trinity, Onalaska, Dodge and surrounding areas.
“I knew that if I wanted to achieve my full potential for professional excellence and elevate my business’ standard of service, I needed the right partner,” said Mari Realty owner and founder Mari Montgomery, who will also lead the Engel & Völkers Huntersville–Lake Conroe office. “The brand’s commitment to excellence and delivering white-glove customer service mirrored my own, but I also knew it provided so much more. From the finest of details in its marketing materials to its robust resources for its network, with the added benefits of a global reach, I knew I needed Engel & Völkers’ best-in-class offerings for the next phase of my business.”
Engel & Völkers will continue its growth with a new office in Bryan College Station slated to open next month.
