BoomTown introduces new lead-gen tech

Real estate sales and marketing platform BoomTown announced two new tools in its platform this week. The first is Success Assurance, which was created to help agents generate, qualify, and manage leads that are “transaction-ready.” The program combines the company’s CRM tech with the texting capabilities of their concierge service Real Contact and offers new calling capabilities. An automated inside-sales-agent-like concierge responds to new leads constantly and immediately, and agents can customize scripts, monitor conversations and get involved at any point they like.

The second new tool announced by the company is Marketing Central, a self-service advertising portal to help agents generate more leads and listing opportunities. “Marketing Central allows brokers to easily leverage ads to generate more listings and increase lead volume, and Success Assurance provides the teams and tools to handle lead generation, initial lead response, qualification and nurturing for up to one year,” said Grier Allen, CEO and president of BoomTown.

Nextdoor announces new real estate feature

Nextdoor, a social networking service for individual neighborhoods, recently announced a feature called Your Home, which aims to provide real estate agents with greater visibility as they work to build their local reputation on the site. The tools will allow agents to showcase their local expertise as they connect with site users who are actively researching the local real estate market or the value of their home.

Lauren Nemeth, chief revenue officer of Nextdoor, said Your Home was designed to give agents the opportunity to increase brand exposure, as their business and contact information will be displayed alongside homeowners’ properties. “We know that real estate agents are the true local experts of communities. Nextdoor continues to be invested in this by building out our existing tools to provide meaningful ways for agents to connect with potential home buyers and sellers,” said Nemeth.

Software service application provider enables digital payments

On Thursday, Reeazily, a company that creates software-as-a-service applications for real estate, announced a new partnership with Checkbook, Inc. that will enable brokerages to release digital payments directly to agents called broker.EZ. The company’s back-office accounting system is geared toward making the closing process streamlined, and this new partnership is aimed at simplifying the process of making commission payments.

Recipients will get a digital check via email that can be printed and treated as a normal one, or sent directly to co-op brokers, title companies and others. Those receiving the email will get all the information they need in one message. The system will attach the commission breakdown and other details to the email with the brokerage’s branding and automates bookkeeping tasks by capturing confirmations and check numbers.
