Traffic at property showings has increased year over year, according to the Houston Association of REALTORS® Weekly Activity Snapshot for the week ended May 1.

Over 46,000 people attended property showings in greater Houston during the week, representing a 4.7% increase from the same time last year when consumer traffic amounted to just over 44,000 showings.

Despite the uptick in consumer interest, pending and closed listings are still down year over year, by 14.5% and 12.3%, respectively. New listings are also down by just over 12%.
