New listings jump 10.9% in Houston

The Houston Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS.

Seller activity ramped up in Houston during the week ended Sept. 14, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

New listings increased 10.9% year over year, with 3,856 homes added to the market.

Both pending and closed home sales remained below 2025 volumes, though. Pending listings declined 11.8%, with 1,796 homes going under contract, while closings slid 3.8%, with 1,366 sales during the week.
