Bonterra at Woodforest, Taylor Morrison’s active-adult community, is nearing a full close-out. Sales in the 700-acre neighborhood first began in 2014, and now less than a dozen homes are still available on the market.
“Bonterra at Woodforest was an early entry into Houston’s active-adult residential landscape when it opened and was quickly followed by other developments catering to the over-55 demographic,” Virgil Yoakum, senior vice president and general manager of Woodforest, said in a news release. “With elaborate amenities, including yard maintenance and a wide selection of homes, we set the standard for what active adults could expect.”
The remaining homes are from builders Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes, with two of the homes ready for immediate move-in: Taylor Morrison’s Balsam design at 289 W. Stargazer Lily Bend, priced in the low $370,000s, and Darling Homes’ 1501 Darling design at 120 Dandelion Way, priced in the $470,000s. Other homes in the community have completion dates ranging between May and August.
Homes in Bonterra include accessibility measures like wide doorways, ample lighting and lever doorknobs to benefit older residents. Additional amenities include parks, dog parks, tennis and basketball courts, pools and a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse set to open this summer.
