New listings increased 21.8% in Houston during the week ended July 28, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Realtors added 3,824 properties to the MLS, up from 3,140 during the same week in 2024.

Closings declined annually for the first time in a month, HAR said, with 1,815 home sales, down 8.5% from a year prior.

Pending sales increased 2.4% year over year though, with 2,127 homes going under contract.
