For more than two decades, Terri Guerra has dedicated countless volunteer hours to advancing breast cancer research and supporting the mission of the Nancy Owens Breast Cancer Foundation. As chairman of the all-volunteer organization, she has helped guide the Foundation through a period of tremendous growth, expanding its impact, strengthening community partnerships and raising millions of dollars to fund innovative breast cancer research.

Under Guerra’s leadership, the Foundation has grown into one of Houston’s leading Realtor-driven charitable organizations. Her passion for the cause is fueled by a commitment to bringing hope to those affected by breast cancer.

Guerra’s dedication to service extends throughout the Houston community. She is an 18-year Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteer and has spent the past 12 years serving on the Wine Events Committee, where she currently serves as a celebrity judging captain. Through her volunteer efforts, she has helped support the educational programs, scholarships and charitable initiatives that make the rodeo one of Houston’s most impactful organizations.

A respected industry leader, Guerra is a broker associate with Bernstein Realty and has been serving Houston-area buyers and sellers for more than 37 years. She has served on the Texas REALTORS® Professional Standards and Ethics Committee since 2001, as a mediator since 2013 and as an ombudsman since 2021.

Whether advocating for breast cancer research, volunteering for Houston’s signature charitable organizations or serving her real estate clients, Guerra leads with heart, integrity and an unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Guerra also won the Charitable Service Award in 2025 and 2020.
