This former Nabisco factory now holds loft apartments.

Keeping with the trend of transforming downtown commercial spaces into housing units, City View Lofts has turned a 100-year-old Nabisco cookie factory on N. Chenevert into 57 loft apartments.

The building, located near Minute Maid Park at 15 N. Chenevert, is now open for residency, and 12 of the 57 apartments have already been leased.

Staying true to its original factory design, the building features exposed brick and pipes, large factory windows, vaulted ceilings and maple floors. Extra amenities include on-site parking, concierge and valet services, a fitness center, wine tasting room and movie theater.

The project is owned by Dan Silvestri of Silvestri Investments Inc. under the name City Lofts LLC.
