Rick Young is COO of Prudential Anderson.

Stacy Sutter, CEO of Big City Properties, is teaming up with Prudential Anderson in a move that will benefit both companies. Big City is the premier REO broker in Houston. Rick Young, of Prudential Anderson Properties, calls them a “top-notch” team. Sutter’s decision to join Prudential Anderson will help the company expand into other markets. Rick Young cites Anderson’s number of offices and the size of the company as something to help Big City expand their reach, versus staying where they were at without the help of a large company with a big hold on Texas real estate.

Anderson Properties will also benefit from the expertise in REO properties that Big City will bring in. “They’ll help train our agents. They can guide them. They bring a lot of contacts,” says Young.

Prudential is a rapidly growing company. “We’re always looking for opportunities to acquire brokerages, add agents or add locations,” says Young. They plan on expanding into the Houston metropolitan area. They have offices in Austin and Lubbock, so they plan on expanding outside Houston as well.

Big City plans on growing as well. They have a larger and more diverse cast of agents to draw upon now they have joined Anderson. They also plan on acquiring more REO properties.

Young says that the future of Texas real estate is bright. “The overall economy remains strong. [Interest] rates are still historically very, very low.”
