Coventry Homes and Taylor Morrison are developing a new gated community, Avalon at Spring Green.

Coventry Homes and Taylor Morrison have partnered to develop Avalon at Spring Green, a gated enclave of 200 homesites.

The two builders have started construction of model homes in Avalon at Spring Green, located in Katy, and will have a limited number of homesites available this fall. It is the first time the two builders have been development partners.

“We’re excited to partner with Coventry Homes on this project,” said Jonathan White, president of Taylor Morrison’s Houston division. “We’re especially happy to bring our Avalon brand to a community that offers homebuyers waterfront homesites, access to the Katy ISD school system and many nearby amenities.”

McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. Region President, James Miller, said the location of Avalon at Spring Green will appeal to buyers because of its direct access to Interstate 10 and minutes away from the Energy Corridor.

The model homes are planned to open this fall and the builders will announce plans and pricing for the community at about the same time. Many of the homesites will border a community lake. Other Avalon at Spring Green amenities include walking trails, a putting green and an open-air pavilion.
