Light Hills Partner Announces Plans for New Apartment Project

Many people want luxury apartment finishes, but not the luxury apartment price tag. Light Hill Partners, a Houston real estate developer, has found a solution to that problem with the plans for their new apartment project.

Light Hills Partners has recently purchased three properties along the Southwest Freeway (4545, 4509 and 4503 Mount Vernon St.) and plans to build a midrise apartment project on the combined land. This project will be made up of studio and one-bedrooms units, both of which will be cheaper and smaller than the average luxury apartment. However, both units will still have the much-coveted finishes that luxury apartments are known for, such as granite countertops and hardwood floors.

“Our model is building boutique apartment complexes that don’t have all the amenities as the big guys, but has the same finish-out.” said Scott Leichtenberg, a partner with Light Hill Partners. “There’s a big need for that in Huston.”

Light Hills Partners plans to expand on this model by building several other similar projects, such as 2121 Ella and Haven at 11th, which will be built in the same style of the South Freeway project.
