by Farren Washington

Bluejack NationalHomes are selling rapidly at Bluejack National, Tiger Woods’ new luxury golf resortAlthough the development has yet to open, 43 houses have already been pre-sold. The new residential community will also include an exclusive championship golf course designed by Woods.

Tipler Design and Build LLC is under contract to build the first 10 of some 147 resort homes planned for Bluejack National. The resort will offer a mix of member suites, cottages and patio homes. The 755-acre development will be located at 4430 S. FM 1486 in Montgomery County (recently named one of the fastest growing counties in the U.S.).

“Sales have been great,” said Casey Paulson, president of Bluejack National. “We only have one golf course slot left, although we’ll have more in phase two. We’ll have people living here in not too long.” Bluejack National developers Beacon Land Development and Lantern Asset Management collaborated with Tipler to build to the homes.

The homes were designed by Nick Fullerton Architects and range in size from 1,200 to 3,300 square feet. Prices range from the mid-$400,000s to nearly $1.5 million. In addition to the 10 homes currently under construction, approximately 20 to 25 more homes are expected to break ground sometime in the next two months.

Over 234 estate lots (for custom homes) and six Houston-area custom home builders will be offered for owners to select from. Construction is expected to begin on the first custom lots soon. Resort amenities include: Tiger Woods’ 18-hole championship golf course, a movie theater, zip line and a fish camp.
