Greater Houston’s St. John’s School near River Oaks is the area’s No. 1 private high school, according to a recent analysis from Niche.
The rating website based its determination on a number of data points, including the typical quality of colleges that graduates from any particular high school tend to be interested in attending; how racially and culturally diverse the student body is; and survey responses from local students and parents. St. John’s School scored well across the board, as did most in Greater Houston’s top 10 private high schools.
