Legacy Homes announces partnership with eco-friendly development in Tulum

by Alsha Khan

Real estate brokerage Legacy Homes and Properties announced its partnership with Amira District Development, an eco- and family-friendly, multiphase residential development in Tulum, Mexico, according to a press release.

The partnership will allow Legacy Homes and Properties investors and buyers to secure a unit in the new residential development of Riviera Maya, just a stone’s throw away from the famous white sandy beaches of Tulum.

“This opportunity is rare and has major upside,” said Derek Boles, broker/owner of Legacy Homes and Properties. “We are providing our clients in Texas the chance to own international property that is walking distance from the beach, in a budding city with potential of significant return on investment.”

Amira District Development is slated to begin construction on the first of three phases in July. The project is expected to be completed by July 2023.

According to a press release, Amira District will be the first truly ecological development in Tulum. Builders and developers are emphasizing sustainability, respecting nature and the environment, and the use of natural materials that do less destruction to the planet and create less waste.

The development will include sustainable features, like solar rooftops, double-glazed PVC windows for thermal insulation, rainwater harvesting, natural pools and more.

Residents will also be able to enjoy resort-like amenities, such as an indoor gym area, deck pools and ground-level pools, multipurpose pavilions and access areas integrated into nature.

Legacy Homes and Properties is already accepting presale contracts in phase one of Amira District.
