The poetry scene. Houston’s poetry and creative community is unmatched and even more underrated.

What do you love most about the industry?
Flexibility and diversity, and working with all cultures.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Guiding individuals to see their true potential.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Put yourself out there. You miss one hundred percent of the shots you do not take.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to?
Currently reading “Primal Leadership,” and prior to that was “Who Moved My Cheese.” That’s always my reread with industry shifts and changes.

What’s your favorite meal in Houston?
Lupe Tortilla

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
The pyramids located near the Museum of Natural Science

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
Walking into what was presumed to be a vacant home just listed, interrupting a couple that were not the homeowners enjoying an afternoon delight. Although they were surprised, they asked me to return once all parties were satisfied.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I’m an esquestrian and I enjoy surfing.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Puerto Rico, because it’s home!
