Texas-based developer Castle Hill Partners is developing its second Houston master-planned community, The Trails. Located along the northeast section of the Grand Parkway on Plum Grove Road, plans for the 1,373-acre community include over 2,000 homesites, an amenity village, space for a future school and approximately 600 acres of nature trails and outdoor recreation opportunities.

“Our vision has always been to create an active-lifestyle, nature-oriented community which incorporates the site’s pine trees, streams and open spaces,” said Tiffany McMillan, vice president at Castle Hill Partners.

Builders slotted for phase one of construction at The Trails include Chesmar Homes, Coventry Homes, Lennar Homes, Village Builders and Westin Homes. Each builder plans to complete a model home and move-in ready homes by spring 2024.

Castle Hill’s first Houston-area community, Pine Mill Ranch in Katy, sold out in 2015.
