I worked in luxury hospitality. Creating experiences and serving others has always been my path.
Where did you grow up?
I’m originally from Dallas, but am a ninth-generation Texan and have been living in Houston for a decade.
Growing up, what did you want to do?
Real estate. I didn’t always know it, but as soon as I had a smartphone, I had every real estate app that existed and was fascinated by the real estate transaction process.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
A run at Memorial Park Conservancy. That always clears my mind.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I’d meet Jackie Kennedy. Her poise, vision and influence have always inspired me, especially her focus on the restoration of the White House.
What is Houston’s best kept secret?
Houston’s world class museums and art campuses
What do you love most about the industry?
I love that my clients often become friends beyond the transaction. There’s a deep trust and partnership that I find incredibly rewarding.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Real estate is an emotional process. As an agent, I feel I can oftentimes serve as a therapist as well.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Be where your people are. Stay involved in the communities that share the same interests as you, and the connections will come.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to?
I don’t really watch TV, but I have been watching Leila Hormozi’s business advice on her YouTube channel. It’s actionable, growth focused and authentic. I’m always listening to house music.
What’s your favorite meal in Houston?
It’s a guilty pleasure, but I treat myself to champagne and French fries on the patio at Brasserie 19. It’s in my neighborhood and has great people watching.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
The William L. Clayton Summer House designed by Birdsall Briscoe in the colonial revival style.
What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I once dug up a water main from the 1940s to stop a leak on a property during one of the freezes that impacted the city.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
People are surprised to know that I have credentials from the Gemological Institute of America. My career spans luxury hospitality and jewelry at Tiffany & Co.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Anywhere by the water! The ocean, lakes, rivers — I find them all calming and restorative.

Be yourself, say yes when you can, and show up!
