I wanted to work with horses and help people. I have always loved animals, especially horses, and I always imagined myself doing something where I could be around them every day.

I run to the gym or spend time outdoors in Memorial Park with my puppy, Harper.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Patrick Swayze. I lived in the house next door to where he once lived in Oak Forest and I have always admired his talent, love for equine and character.
What is Houston’s best kept secret?
Its neighborhoods. Each area has its own personality, charm, food, architecture and sense of community.
What do you love most about the industry?
The people. Every day brings opportunities to solve problems, build relationships and help clients achieve their goals.

Creating boundaries between work and personal time. In a fast-paced industry, there’s always another opportunity, project or client need to address.

Focus on relationships first. Opportunities naturally follow trust.

“Meditations” by Marcus Aurelius

JPMorgan Chase Tower. A defining part of downtown Houston.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
My idea of relaxing is researching something I don’t need to know.

Big Bend National Park
