Closed home sales increased 1.8% in Houston during the week ending April 6, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Buyers purchased 1,914 homes, up from 1,880 during the same week in 2025. Pending listings, however, dropped 16.7%, with 2,188 properties going under contract.

New listings also declined during the week, with Realtors adding 4,094 properties to the MLS, up from 4,542 a year prior.
