An influx of sellers added their homes to the market in Houston during the week ended July 27, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Agents helped sellers list 4,088 properties on the MLS, up 8.1% from the same week in 2025 when 3,781 properties were added.

At the same time, both pending and closed home sales declined annually: Pending home sales fell 18%, with 1,903 listings going under contract, and closings dropped 16%, with 1,534 sales during the week.

Consumer traffic at showings and open houses increased, though — by 2.9% and 5.3% year over year, respectively.
