Mary Keen of Prudential Gary Greene Realtors of the Bay Area, has received the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR) Lifetime achievement award of 2011.
The HAR Lifetime Achievement award is given annually to a real estate agent who is ethical, moral, hard working, of good reputation and makes a difference in the community. The nominations for the award are made by past recipients.
The award was presented by the Chairman of Deer Park Area Realtor Network, Troy Cothran.
“Mary has been a real estate agent for over 30 years and is an excellent role model for all Realtors,” said Cothran. “She also gives back to the community, promotes and helps other real estate agents and is a very hard worker.”
Mary Eiland, partner at Prudential Gary Greene Realtors, says that Keen truly deserves this honor.
“Mary’s work ethic, professionalism and spirit of social responsibility, which she puts to work for multiple causes, make her an outstanding example for everyone in our company,” said Eiland.
Bay Area Branch Manager Debra Blenderman, couldn’t agree more.
“Mary is a true professional in her real estate career and can always be counted on for volunteer and fundraising efforts,” said Blenderman.
Keen has served on HAR’s Board of Directors, the HAR Bay Area Advisory Council, as a director of the Texas Association of Realtors, and as a trustee of the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee. She is also on the fundraising committee for the nonprofit The Rose and helps each year with Prudential Gary Greene’s fundraising activities for The Sunshine Kids Foundation, a major mission of the company.
