30 minutes outside of New York City.

What is your favorite free-time activity?
Traveling, reading and (believe it or not) cleaning.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? 
Work out at the gym.

Growing up, what did you want to be?
When I was younger, I wanted to be a marine biologist.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I love any “rise to fame” stories – people that work their way from having nothing to being world known, like Oprah Winfrey.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? 
Any restaurant with a great atmosphere.

What do you love most about the industry?
What I love most is the people that I get to meet that are from all different walks of life, and I love that I get to be a part of one of their biggest, most important and exciting purchases!

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
My last name most certainly helps…I also use a lot of social media in much of my marketing.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Fighting the wind when you are trying to put balloons on your sign at an open house.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
Online (Facebook/Twitter) and open houses.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Meeting the love of my life.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read?
The last good book I read was The Illumination.

What is your favorite restaurant?
Houston is filled with so many, I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Hillstone (formerly Houston’s), Américas, and for a good burger, you can’t go wrong with Barnaby’s Cafe.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
The Wortham Theatre Center.

What kind of car do you drive?
An SUV.

What is your favorite city after Houston? 
Boston.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
The best advice that I was given – do open houses!
