What was your first job in the realty industry?
My first job in the realty industry was as the purchaser of two duplexes in the city of New Orleans (as investment property).

What is your favorite free-time activity?
Gardening and home decoration.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Reading and shopping.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
Teacher.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be?
Donald Trump, because he is a genius in all things real estate and
well versed in things related to real estate and business.
Where is your favorite place to hang out?
My yard.
What do you love most about the industry?
Meeting people and helping them understand as much as possible about
their sale or purchase of real estate.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
Honesty, trust, knowledge and service, accountability and constant contact are attributes I provide to my clients.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Keeping up with technology. Every time I think I have it under control, something new explodes. Luckily, I have a couple of trainers I am sure I am driving mad. I assure them that I am helping pave their way to heaven.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
School meetings and festivals, neighborhood game nights, mailing marketing materials to nearby neighborhoods.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
Raising and educating three great children who are now professionals and have great spouses and my five grandchildren. I have the greatest husband who helped with this accomplishment.
What is your favorite restaurant?
There are several that I frequent weekly. They are Olive Garden, Landry’s, Slatgrass Steakhouse, Jason’s Deli, P.F. Chang’s, etc.
What is your favorite building in Houston?
The Galeria.
What kind of car do you drive?
Honda Odyssey.
Smartphone, or paper?
Both.
What is your favorite city after Houston?
New Orleans.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Look to investing in real estate.
What is your favorite iPhone/Android app?
Just got my iPad. Am still learning.
