What was your first job in the realty industry?
I started out as a Realtor for Carter Group Realty in Memphis, Tennessee.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Houston, Texas.
What is your favorite free-time activity?
I like to spend time with family and friends, and I enjoy music and movies.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I listen to music.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
Growing up, I wanted to be an architect.
If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Abraham Lincoln. I’d want to know his thoughts on keeping the Union together.
Where is your favorite place to hang out?
At the homes of my friends and family.
What do you love most about the industry?
Helping people accomplish their goals.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I distinguish myself because I listen to people about what they want and what their aspirations are. I let them tell me what they dream of for them and their families instead of telling them what to do.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
It is difficult to get to the core of what people really want. Sometimes, people don’t know.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
I take them to charity events, night spots, lounges, almost anywhere.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment is receiving my degree. Only a few in my family have received one.
What was the last good movie you saw or book you read?
I like action films. I just saw “Pacific Rim,” and that was good. The last good book I read was, “The Millionaire Real Estate Agent,” by Gary Keller.
What is your favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is Pappasito’s Cantina.
What kind of car do you drive?
I have a Toyota Camry Hybrid.

Memphis, TN.

You must work hard to achieve.
