What was your first job in the realty industry?
My first job in the real estate industry was for six months as an assistant to my husband. Then, I got my license six months after he did.
Where did you grow up?
All around Houston.
What is your favorite free-time activity?
Hanging out with my husband and the kids. We LOVE to vacation – we try to do it three to six times a year.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Clean and organize – call me crazy, but it really relaxes and de-stresses me.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
An attorney or a psychologist.
Where is your favorite place to hang out?
What do you love most about the industry?
Helping people by guiding them through the home buying and home selling process.
How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I am the “Texas Queen of Real Estate” – I even wear a crown in my headshot. People really remember that! Besides that, I really take pride in following up with clients.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Other agents. In this industry, we could all stand to be nicer to each other and look out for the client’s best interest, not our own.
Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
Online, online, online and of also throughout the general course of the day.
What has been your greatest accomplishment?
My family and my success.
What is your favorite restaurant?
Ichibon Japanese Restaurant.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
In general, I love downtown. I recently saw a picture of what the downtown horizon looked liked in the 70’s and my eyes teared up with pride to see how our city has grown.
What kind of car do you drive?
A Traverse and a BMW.
Smartphone or paper?
A little bit of both.

The fortune is in the follow up. Phone calls = Money calls.
