Michael Keiller
Your Woodlands Home team of RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring welcomes Realtor Michael Keiller as a licensed assistant to Realtor Andrea Keiller.
The former ships captain, who recently sold his half of a successful marine consulting business and retired, brings organizational skills to the Woodlands Home team. Originally from England, Michael holds a BSc in marine transportation and is a 45-year veteran of the energy industry including captaining oil tankers and managing oil terminals in South America and the Middle East.
”I retired a little earlier than I expected to, but my type-A personality does not allow me to sit idle,” said Michael. ”I do enjoy golf, but not every day, so I set about learning the real estate business, obtaining a Realtor license and joining my wifes team at RE/MAX The Woodlands & Spring to help her continue her success and expand her business.”
Michael’s duties with the company include meeting with clients when scheduling conflicts arise and taking care of some of the many tasks involved in marketing a home. Andrea believes Michael’s past business experience opens up new opportunities.
”Mike brings years of business experience to our team and opens up new opportunities with his previous clients,” said Andrea.
Your Woodlands Home team is also part of The Woodlands Relo Group, specializing in The Woodlands and surrounding areas including acreage and ranch properties. This is a good fit for the Keillers whose many international and interstate moves have provided expertise in what it takes to successfully relocate a family.
The Keillers call Magnolia home and have two daughters attending college. The oldest is set to graduate at the end of the year with a degree in nursing from Baylor University, and the youngest is an animal science major at Texas A&M University pursuing her degree in veterinary medicine.
