What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
Working for ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut.

Where did you grow up?
Queens, NYC

Growing up, what did you want to be?
An NBA player.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Workout, play basketball or listen to music.

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Jay-Z. Growing up in NYC and seeing him flourish to be a billionaire in his own lane is pretty cool. You gotta respect his hustle.

What is Houston’s best kept secret?
How diverse it is. Not many people that live outside of Houston know how diverse the city is.

What do you love most about the industry?
I get to help people achieve their goals, whether it is my clients or agents. I get to find solutions to their problems.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Managing time. We all get 24 hours a day, and we have to be very strategic with all 24 hours.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Stay in front of as many people as possible so when they think of real estate, your name is the first to come up.

What’s your favorite meal in Houston?
Breakfast tacos.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
TC Energy Center on 700 Louisiana Street

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
At an open house, I had someone come in and sit right on the kitchen island on their phone. Asked no questions about the house and just sat there on his phone.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
That I’m Dominican and fluent in Spanish.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Los Cabos and Belize. It’s relaxing with not a lot of tourists, plus a quick flight. All-time favorite is the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

Be consistent and execute.
