Houston residential market sees annual increase in listings in November

Both new and active listings increased on a year-over-year basis in Houston, according to the latest First Real Estate Snapshot of Houston (FRESH) Report from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

New listings increased by 13.3% year over year, with 9,975 properties added to the MLS during November. New listings also surpassed 2019 levels by 13.9%.

Active listings also rose annually, with 24,970 properties on the market during the month. That’s a 6.8% increase over November 2022.

Meanwhile, the average listing price stayed stagnant, rising 0.1% to $417,155. That’s still significantly lower than the all time high of $441,748 set in May of this year.
