What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I was a wedding photographer.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Growing up, what did you want to be?
A teacher

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Meditate, watch a movie, go for a run or a walk

If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Mel Robin. I love her energy, her passion for other people’s growth and improvement, all of her books and her story of bouncing back from rock bottom.

What is Houston’s best kept secret?
The taco food trucks

What do you love most about the industry?
Learning opportunities are everywhere.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
People selling their home (full of their hopes and dreams) not because of a happy reason.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Make sure to get educated. Confidence radiates.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to?
“Suits.” If I have more time I would rewatch “Game of Thrones.”

What’s your favorite meal in Houston?
Tripas tacos from the taco truck. And pho on a cold day.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
The Julia Ideson Building

What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you on the job?
I open a door to show a home and saw a homeless man laying on the floor.

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
I have a Master’s in Accounting, then built my wedding photography business and now work in real estate.

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Pagosa Spring, a very small and cute town with hot springs all around. I feel life slows down when I am there.

Educate yourself, find a good mentor and never stop learning.
