With almost a decade of experience in the real estate industry, James Krueger has been honored and recognized by a plethora of local organizations for his contributions to the Houston market.
The broker and owner of Krueger Real Estate, Krueger represents the best of Houston’s real estate market. Just this year, HAR.com named him to their Top 20 Under 40 list, and he was also recognized as a HAR Top Producer in 2012 and 2013. He’s had a feature article written about him in the Houston Business Journal, was named to Houston Magazine’s list of Top Luxury Real Estate Professionals, and won a Facebook Fans’ Choice Award for Real Estate. Krueger has experienced tremendous success as an agent, and now, as a broker, he strives to help his agents achieve the same.
Krueger’s path into real estate was a winding one. In college, he worked a number of different jobs, from folding clothes, to waiting tables, to bartending. He went into litigation consulting immediately after graduating, but eventually decided to leave it behind for the hope of a career in real estate. Krueger credits his eclectic work history with imposing on him the importance of putting service before all else. “It was truly one of my greatest learning experiences in life,” he says.
The customer-first philosophy Krueger learned early in his life helps define his brokerage today. “We believe that exceptional real estate service begins with personalization – with one agent who listens, who tailors their service to your wants and needs, and who not only communicates well, but is available to answer your questions and concerns both day and night,” he says. In order to make sure his agents can focus 100 percent on the clients, he backs them with an expert support staff to help ease their load. At many agencies, agents are responsible for advertising, lead generation and a whole lot of paperwork, but Krueger explains that by handing off those duties to other professionals, he frees up his agents to devote all their time to what he considers most important – helping the client.
Krueger is also a savvy marketer. Through a diverse multi-channel strategy that includes print, online and social media outlets, Krueger maximizes the exposure of his client’s listings. He uses high-quality photos, expert staging advice, detailed, attractive list descriptions and online marketing blitzes to make sure that exposure matters.
Outside of real estate, Krueger is passionate about giving back to his community. Krueger Real Estate has sponsored numerous local charity initiatives, including a 5K run tor raise money to rehab parts of Timbergrove, as well as a cold weather clothing drive for the homeless and a Habitat for Humanity Project. A former student athlete and national champion archer, he also enjoys staying active.
