Kendra Lee is a Realtor for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene in Humble.

What was your first job in the realty industry?
I was a real estate agent for Keller Williams.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Nebraska and Oklahoma.

What is your favorite free-time activity?
Shopping, laying out by the pool and spending time with my children. My children are at the top of the list, because they’re all moved out now, and they’re the only thing I miss more than anything.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I like to sit in the backyard and play in the pool.

Growing up, what did you want to be?
An airline stewardess.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
I would probably have lunch with Dolly Parton. She’s always been my idol. I love the way she sings, and she’s just so darn cute. Either that or Blake Shelton, because he’s hot.

Where is your favorite place to hang out?
Home. I’m a homebody.

What do you love most about the industry?
Whether I’m sitting across from a first-time homebuyer or somebody who bought a dozen homes, I love the feeling I get watching them get excited.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I put my clients first above just about anything. My family can vouch for that as well. My communication is probably above most standards. I communicate with my clients on a regular basis. I go above and beyond the call of duty of a Realtor, because I make friends with them, and am more personable with them. I give them 110 percent.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
In the market we’re in today, it’s difficult to make the time to get all the paperwork finished. We’re so swamped right now.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients?
Anywhere I can go. It doesn’t matter if I’m going to the gorcery store or a big function for one of our castles or something like that. I network everywhere I go.

What has been your greatest accomplishment?
I have two. The first is being able to be as successful as I am in a year’s time. The second is raising three girls that have done so well.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read?
“The Blind Side”.

What is your favorite restaurant?
Chimichurri’s South American Grill.

What kind of car do you drive?
A Ford Explorer.

Smartphone or Paper?
Smartphone.

What is your favorite city after Houston?
Boston.

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Have patience and work hard.

What’s your favorite Real Estate iPhone/ Blackberry app?
Videolicious.
