What was your first job in the realty industry? I was an admin assistant to a small brokerage firm. They had some difficult personal times and so I thought I would pitch in and help. Twenty-seven years later I am so happy to still be a Realtor.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? Watch movies.

Where did you grow up? Warwick, R.I.

Growing up, what did you want to be? A hair dresser.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Condalisa Rice She is dignified and intelligent. So very smart and really has it together. I would love to just sit and talk with her. She’s a brilliant politician and surely has a great perspective on life.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? Home with my family.

What do you love most about the industry? It’s never the same. All customers are so different. Always a challenge. Always learning. Always changing with the times. It keeps you on your feet and motivated!

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I have so much time in the industry now; plus, I was a broker/manager for 15 years and trained. Now I apply what I taught to my business.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Time management. People want instant gratification and want you on demand. It can be a challenge to juggle all the balls of prospecting and conducting an active business.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? My neighborhood mostly.

What has been you greatest accomplishment? Training agents that are now very successful. And getting difficult transactions to closing.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? If I Stay – can’t wait for the movie. Was very moving.

What is your favorite restaurant? Fratellini’s – Good Italian with a piano playing in the background. Lovely.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston? I just love the skyline.

What kind of car do you drive?  Lincoln MKX.

Smartphone or paper? Smartphone.

What is your favorite city after Houston? New York! The city that never sleeps.
