If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? Former President George H. W. Bush. Did it before, ready to do it again.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? At home.

What do you love most about the industry? It is always active.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I don’t stand in the crowd.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? All of the paperwork and record-keeping.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? To social events on the Island.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? Tie between winning the Texas Open Tennis Tournament and being inducted into the Texas Tennis Hall of Fame.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? “In Harm’s Way.”

What is your favorite restaurant? Any good Mexican food restaurant.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston? Transco Tower.

What kind of car do you drive? Pickup.

Smartphone or paper? Smart phone, but I still read the paper.

What is your favorite city after Houston? Melbourne, Australia

In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry? Learn the rules/laws and keep good records. Don’t procrastinate.
