The Howard Hughes Corporation (HHC) is offering a new incentive for potential homebuyers to purchase a new home in June. The company is offering a free Bronco Power Boost generator to those who buy a new home in Bridgeland or The Woodlands Hills this month.

Bridgeland is the top-selling master-planned community (MPC) in Texas, and The Woodlands Hills is the newer award-winning MPC in Conroe and Willis, located 13 miles north of The Woodlands.

The automatic battery-powered generator, valued at $5,900, will come pre-installed next to the home’s electrical panel and add an extra layer of security to the home to prepare for inclement weather and hurricane season. The generator will have the power to supply home appliances, Wi-Fi, LED lighting, security systems and electronics when the power goes out, or the power grid fails like it did this past February during a severe winter storm.

“Our Battery Backup Home Sale Incentive not only provides families, first-time buyers or those looking to downsize or upgrade their new home with the best residential experience in Texas, but it also provides a thank you to those we welcome to our communities with a state-of-the-art and highly sought-after generator,” said Heath Melton, executive vice president of MPC Residential for HHC, in a statement.

In March, HHC broke ground on the 3,000-acre Prairieland Village, the third of four Bridgeland villages in Cypress. They announced the builders for the first phase of Prairieland Village last month, which is anticipated to have 7,000 homesites and 26,000 residents upon completion.
