What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I was a media buyer for a boutique advertising agency.

Where did you grow up?
Born and raised in Bolivia, have also lived in Austin, Miami, Honduras and Houston.

Growing up, what did you want to be?
Travel photographer.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
Go to Memorial park, do yoga and go to F45. I love art, going to museums and new exhibits, hanging out with my husband and kids and dining out with friends.

What is Houston’s best-kept secret?
It is full of possibilities. There is something for everyone. It is truly diverse and everybody feels like they belong here.

What do you love most about the industry?
The satisfaction I get when people find the house they had been waiting for. It is very rewarding to visit them after they move-in and watch the joy they have in their new home.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents?
I am detailed about explaining each step needed, trying to minimize stress. I try to make the process enjoyable and fun, usually becoming friends with my clients.

What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Giving bad news.

What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Do your best in every transaction.

What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to lately?
Love to watch “Yellowstone” and read historic novels.

What’s your favorite meal in Houston?
Love Vinoteca Poscol’s pasta Bolognese, and sushi with my kids at Oishi.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
JP Morgan Chase building Downtown

What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Italy, I love the food, the noise, the people, the style, the scenery, the wine, the art. Everything about it.

What is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Don’t be offended if someone very close to you works with another realtor.
